The Corner Lighthouse officially opened its doors today.
A new community support centre in downtown Huntsville officially opened its doors today. The Corner Lighthouse, which serves as both a food bank and community hub, welcomed dozens of people eager to access additional food and support services.
Run entirely by volunteers, the organization says over 80% of donations go directly to food and essential programs, helping families in need with nutritious meals, meal planning, and long-term stability.
Lynne Doyle, General Manager of The Lighthouse, says their mission goes beyond providing food. "Through access to nutritious food, meal planning, and educational programs, we're helping lift people up, not just get by."
With growing demand, the group is calling on the community to get involved through donations or volunteering. Learn more at cornerlighthouse.ca.
