The group wants to preserve the property's natural environment, history and community value
A new community group has been created in Lake of Bays to support the future of the Logging Chain Heritage Park in Dwight. Friends of Logging Chain Heritage Park says it will work with residents and the Township to help guide plans for the property, focusing on preserving its natural environment, history, and community value. The Township purchased the former Logging Chain Lodge property in 2025 and is developing plans to transform it into a public park.
