The MAHC says the new equipment will provide a better experience for patients
Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare says breast imaging services in Huntsville have received a major upgrade.
A new donor-funded mammography unit is now fully operational at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital, following a temporary pause earlier this year for installation.
The new system features advanced 3D imaging technology, allowing for clearer and more detailed scans.
The MAHC says the new system also offers a more comfortable experience, with redesigned supports and calming visual features to ease patients during exams.
