Fountain has been with the chamber for 10 years
There’s a change coming at the Muskoka Lakes Chamber of Commerce.
Executive Director Norah Fountain is leaving the job December 1st, after 10 years with the Chamber.
During her time there, the organization more than tripled its revenue and grew its membership to nearly 400 businesses.
Fountain is moving to a part-time quasi-judicial appointment with the federal government, but says she plans to continue contributing to Muskoka through economic development and communications work.
The Chamber is now preparing to recruit her replacement.
