The Huntsville OPP Detachment is inviting applications for its 2026 Youth in Policing Initiative, an eight-week summer program for students aged 15 to 18.
The paid placement runs from July to August and gives youth hands-on experience working alongside officers and civilian staff in administrative and community roles.
Participants help with tasks like records management, reception support and public safety outreach, while also taking part in community events and crime prevention programs.
Applications are due June 18, and require a résumé and short essay outlining the applicant’s interest and skills.
