A Brampton man faces kidnapping and weapons charges as OPP continue to hunt for remaining suspects
A multi-agency manhunt spanning more than seven months has led to another breakthrough in a violent Muskoka home invasion.
Huntsville OPP confirmed this morning that an eighth suspect is now behind bars following the armed home invasion in the Hillside area last July. A 32-year-old from Brampton faces a litany of charges, including kidnapping and robbery with a firearm, after the investigation sparked massive closures along Highway 11 during the initial search.
While the accused awaits a bail hearing, police say the case is far from closed. Police warn that additional suspects—considered armed and dangerous—are still out there.
If you have any information or see anything suspicious, call the OPP or Crime Stoppers immediately.
