Private roads prone to flooding can cause access issues for first responders
The District of Muskoka’s Emergency Response Committee is warning residents that spring weather can damage private roads, causing flooding, washouts, or sinkholes.
The District says that if your road has access issues, take action now and let 911 know about any problems so emergency crews can respond safely.
Residents are urged to monitor conditions and maintain clear access.
