Kids return to school today
The OPP is reminding drivers to slow down as students return to school across Ontario.
Police say motorists should expect heavier traffic around schools, more pedestrians and increased school bus activity, especially during drop-off and pick-up.
Drivers must stop when a school bus has its red warning lights flashing, and remain stopped until the lights are off and the stop arm is withdrawn.
The OPP is also reminding students and parents to use designated crossings and follow crossing guards.
