A Huntsville woman is facing multiple charges after a tense early-morning incident in Orillia.
Provincial police say officers were called to a business on Atherley Road around 1:20am Saturday morning for a report of an unwanted person making threats.
Investigators allege the suspect demanded alcohol or cigarettes and warned of using a weapon. Police say 41-year-old Laura Nimmons of Huntsville resisted arrest and later made further threats toward officers.
The woman is charged with robbery, mischief, uttering threats and resisting arrest, and is being held for a bail hearing.
