Police say there may be more victims
Orillia OPP say more victims have been identified in a fraud investigation involving several Ontario hospitals, and a Burlington man is now facing 65 criminal charges.
Police say 34-year-old Nassim Eronn is accused of fraud, theft, breach of trust, disobeying court orders and personation. The investigation involves hospitals in Orillia, Orangeville, Mississauga and Toronto, with alleged incidents dating back to 2024.
Police say additional victims may still come forward. Anyone who attended the facilities during the periods under investigation is being asked to check their financial records for unauthorized transactions.
None of the allegations have been tested in court.
