The campaign targeted the "Big Four" dangerous behaviors
The Ontario Provincial Police say thousands of drivers and boaters were charged during a week-long safety enforcement campaign across the province.
Preliminary figures show OPP officers issued more than 19,000 traffic and marine-related charges, including over 8,600 speeding tickets and more than 400 impaired driving charges. Police also laid hundreds of charges for stunt driving, distracted driving and seatbelt violations.
