Two people are facing serious drug trafficking charges after a police investigation in Gravenhurst.
Police say officers with the North East Region Community Street Crime Unit arrested two suspects February 10th at a plaza on Muskoka Road South in Gravenhurst.
Police say a vehicle search turned up a large quantity of suspected drugs, including about one-and-a-half kilograms of fentanyl, along with amphetamines and cocaine. Officers also seized cash, cell phones and a digital scale.
60-year-old James Lee from Bolton and 43-year-old Cynthia Sheffield of Huntsville are both charged with multiple counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
