One man from Bolton and a woman from Huntsville appeared in a bail court last week
Two people are facing serious drug trafficking charges after a police investigation in Gravenhurst.
Police say officers with the North East Region Community Street Crime Unit arrested two suspects February 10th at a plaza on Muskoka Road South in Gravenhurst.
Police say a vehicle search turned up a large quantity of suspected drugs, including about one-and-a-half kilograms of fentanyl, along with amphetamines and cocaine. Officers also seized cash, cell phones and a digital scale.
60-year-old James Lee from Bolton and 43-year-old Cynthia Sheffield of Huntsville are both charged with multiple counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Both were held for bail and have appeared before the court in Bracebridge.
