Bracebridge OPP responded to a report of a possible weapon in Gravenhurst on Tuesday evening, prompting a brief road closure near Bay Street.
Police were called around 5:30 after a member of the public reported seeing what appeared to be a firearm pointed toward the street from an apartment near Bay Street and Muskoka Road South. As a precaution, nearby roads were closed while officers investigated.
Police later determined the individual involved was a youth playing with an imitation firearm.
