Officials say $53 million of the $70 million goal has been raised, surpassing expectations
The Huntsville Hospital Foundation says its Raise Muskoka campaign has now passed the 53-million-dollar mark toward a 70-million-dollar goal for a new Huntsville Hospital and medical equipment upgrades.
Officials say a 17.5-million-dollar matching challenge, led by the Cockwell family and supporters of Bob Hutcheson, has been fully met, doubling its impact to 35 million dollars.
Foundation leaders say the first year of the campaign has exceeded expectations, crediting hundreds of donors across the region, while confirming fundraising efforts will continue to reach the final target.
