The survey will help guide future road salt reduction
Residents across Muskoka are being asked to take part in a new survey as part of the SALTYMuskoka Community Action Project.
The initiative is evaluating public awareness around reducing road salt use while still maintaining winter road safety, following a year-long education campaign.
Organizers say responses are anonymous and will help measure the effectiveness of their outreach efforts on environmental impacts.
The survey is now open to the public, with results expected to guide future road salt reduction strategies across the region.
