Police remind motorists to move over for first responders and other roadside workers
Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a collision on Highway 11 in Gravenhurst involving a transport truck and a tow truck.
Police say early Sunday morning, officers responding to a single-vehicle crash saw a transport truck strike the tow truck on the northbound lanes near Luigi Road.
Police report that no one was injured, but a 27-year-old man from Windsor has been charged with careless driving and failing to move over for an emergency vehicle.
Police are reminding drivers to slow down, move over, and stay alert whenever approaching stopped vehicles to protect roadside workers and emergency responders.
