The funding will boost services in Parry Sound and the District of Muskoka
Parry Sound–Muskoka MPP Graydon Smith is welcoming a $13.5 million investment in local ambulance services.
Smith announced that the province is boosting land ambulance funding in Muskoka by 9 percent and in Parry Sound by 4 percent, along with extra support for offload nurses to cut hospital delays.
Smith says, “For too long, northern and rural communities were left behind. We’re fixing that and giving our paramedics the support they need to respond across our large region.”
