Firefighters, pilots and emergency responders are working to protect northern communities
Muskoka Parry Sound MPP Graydon Smith says wildland firefighters, pilots and emergency responders across northern Ontario are working around the clock to protect communities from active forest fires.
Smith says several hundred highly trained Ontario firefighters, supported by nearly 50 helicopters and waterbombers, are working alongside crews from Alberta, Yukon and the federal government.
