Voting takes place from October 14th, to the 26th
Huntsville’s next municipal election is starting to take shape.
Town councillor Scott Morrison announced today he’s running for mayor during an interview on Muskoka Morning on Hunters Bay Radio.
Morrison says the town needs an operations building, more support for youth, and better efficiency to reduce pressure on taxpayers—adding Huntsville needs “strong voices around the table” to move those priorities forward.
He’ll officially launch his campaign May 19th with an event at Canvas Brewing Company, running from 6 to 8 p.m., featuring live music from Gina Horswood.
Voting in Huntsville runs October 14th through the 26th.
