OPP aviation services were involved in the search for the teens in the Ravenscliffe area
A stolen vehicle investigation in Huntsville has resulted in multiple charges against two local teenagers. OPP say a vehicle stolen from the Barrie area was tracked into Huntsville Sunday evening, where it allegedly hit a pedestrian before leaving the scene.
The victim was treated in hospital for minor injuries. Officers later found the abandoned vehicle on Ravenscliffe Road and arrested two suspects following an extensive search.
A 16-year-old faces charges including dangerous operation causing bodily harm, while a 14-year-old is charged with possession of stolen property. Neither can be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, and police continue to investigate.
