Police report their was several incidents at local businesses
A Gravenhurst woman is facing charges after a series of incidents involving counterfeit money.
Police say that between June 30 and July 8, Bracebridge OPP responded to several reports of fake bills being used at businesses around town. With help from the public, police identified and arrested 40-year-old Amee Paulette.
She’s now charged with five counts of uttering counterfeit money and three counts of fraud under $5,000.
Paulette is scheduled to appear in Bracebridge court on August 12.
