Joyce Crone is headed to London. England for the Women Over Fifty Film Festival
Huntsville’s award-winning short documentary Red Girl Rising is heading to the United Kingdom after being accepted into the Women Over Fifty Film Festival.
The film explores identity, cultural reclamation and community through the story of Huntsville’s Joyce Jonathan Crone, and how hope can inspire positive action.
The film is part of the Hot Docs Citizen Minutes Series and was created by Indigenous co-directors Faith Howe and Kim Stadfeld, along with producer Rachel McLean and creative producer Lauren Grant.
