The investment will support business growth in Muskoka
More than $2.3 million in federal funding is coming to Muskoka to support business growth.
The Bracebridge-based Muskoka Community Futures Development Corporation is getting $1.5 million over 5 years for operations, including business financing, counselling and community planning.
It’s also receiving $812,500 over 3 years to coordinate training and professional development for 16 Community Futures organizations across northeastern Ontario.
The funding is part of a $20.5 million FedNor investment expected to create or maintain more than 1,200 jobs across Northern Ontario.
