Police in Bracebridge are warning the public after videos surfaced online showing people firing guns in a reckless way.
The OPP say careless use of firearms is a serious offence, and charges can include mischief and unauthorized possession, and can result in jail time.
Officers say shooting without regard for safety or surroundings puts lives at risk and can lead to weapons being seized.
The Bracebridge detachment is asking residents to help keep the community safe by reporting unsafe firearm activity.
