A Toronto man is facing multiple charges after an armed vehicle robbery in Huntsville led to a police pursuit and arrest in Gravenhurst.

OPP say a man allegedly confronted a driver on Main Street East Thursday morning, demanded the vehicle keys while carrying a weapon, and fled in the stolen vehicle.

About 40 minutes later, officers located the vehicle on Highway 11 near Canning Road, where a tire deflation device was used to safely bring it to a stop. Police arrested 27-year-old Kyle Duffy-Radzikowski of Toronto without incident.

He faces charges including robbery with a weapon, dangerous operation, possession of stolen property, weapons offences, and multiple counts of breaching release and probation orders. He remains in custody pending a bail hearing.
